Under utilized unconventional secondary timbers are utilized for manufacturing various furnitures and handicrafts on experimental basis and come out with recommendation of its usage. Even Prosopis and Eucalyptus are also used for promoting timber after proper seasoning. Colour of the wood is also changed by Ammonia fumigation. The experiments resulted in low cost furniture and durable building materials which will promote rural entrepreneurship.
